Season update:
Freshman: The freshman are off to a 16-2 record and are currently led in hitting by Carter Seaton who is hitting .491 and Kolby Kucera who is hitting .479. On the mound Cade Obermueller is 3-0 with a 1.8 ERA, Carter Seaton is 4-0 and JD Kriz is 3-1. The freshman play again Wednesday at Cedar Rapids Washington. Sophomores: The sophomores are currently 14-4 and 11-1 in conference where they lead the Valley Division. They play Xavier tonight who leads the Mississippi Division at 11-1. Garrett Borrmann has led the way offensively hitting .525 while four others are hitting .400 and above. Many pitchers have combined to contribute to the start. Follow them on GameChanger here.
Varsity: The varsity is currently 12-8 after beating a quality Solon squad Saturday at the 4th Annual Fight with Flash Crosstown Classic. This was a great day for baseball in Iowa City and was played for a great cause. I would like to thank those who were able to attend. The varsity is currently led in offense by Travis Reyhons who is hitting .422 with 4 triples and Liam McComas who is hitting .367 with 3 home runs and 24 RBI.
